It’s all a big rush to be prepared for the big kick off tomorrow. I spent last night tweaking my plot and making sure the various strands converged at the same critical point (they don’t, so that’s a worry) and sticking character notes into my Big Book of Ideas.

In Conversation….

I loved words. I love to sing them and speak them and even now, I must admit, I have fallen into the joy of writing them.

Not many updates of late as I haven’t done any plot development or characterisation.

I have however been contemplating the differences between myself and my fellow humans after an interesting political workplace discussion. Listening to opinions that wildly differ from your own can be uncomfortable and sometimes rage-inflicting, but as far as character development goes it can only help ‘fill out’ characters I would have otherwise been unable to imagine.

The Hospice writing challenge will only begin on November 1st which allows me a little thinking time to outline the plot and characters (which is allowed under the National Novel Writing Month rules), so as such I haven’t yet got a title in mind, I’m hoping this will present itself organically during the writing process.

To begin with I’ve given myself a two-sentence “kickstarter” as a skeleton upon which to flesh out some plotlines:
