Moments of the Utmost Gravity

The following trailer is epic. So much so that I watched it three times with my stomach churning in a most unpleasant manner. Although it doesn’t give much away in the sense of plot, it is obviously a work of high psychological drama, and like most of the best science fiction, examines how ordinary people react in extraordinary situations. Or at least, I hope it will do.

Starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney, Gravity looks terrifying and chilling in equal measure, and is due out on October 4th 2013.

Doctor Ex Machina

OK, so we’ll gloss over why I haven’t been updating this blog, suffice to say it’s been a thoroughly miserable 2013 so far.

I have however found the venom to write today as the latest episode of Doctor Who (Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS) has really annoyed me. Yes, I know it’s written for family viewing, but it’s lazy writing and there’s no excuse.
